The Lincoln Public Safety Foundation (LPSF) is excited to announce that the Lincoln Police Department has implemented use of the advanced TruNarc Narcotics Analyzer. This tool is crucial in our efforts to keep our community safe from illegal drugs.
During our last meeting, the Lincoln Public Safety Foundation had the privilege of hosting a live demonstration of the TruNarc, conducted by Officer Parson. The demonstration provided a detailed look at the device’s functionality and effectiveness. Officer Parson showcased its precision and reliability by testing both benign substances like baking soda and dangerous narcotics like fentanyl.
The acquisition of this state-of-the-art equipment was made possible through the donations of two gracious Lincoln citizens, Cynthia Liddell and Alan Tottle. Through their support, we are able to significantly enhance the drug detection capabilities of the Lincoln Police Department, and reinforce our community’s safety measures.
Officer Parson explained, “The TruNarc Narcotics Analyzer is a significant addition to our toolkit. Its ability to provide immediate and accurate results allows us to respond swiftly to drug-related incidents, making our streets safer for everyone.”
