Saladworks’ Fundraiser Boosts Public Safety in Lincoln

We are excited to announce that Saladworks in Lincoln, California, successfully raised nearly $1000 for the Lincoln Public Safety Foundation through a generous community fundraiser. For the entire month of April and the first two weeks of May, Saladworks customers had the opportunity to round up their purchase amounts to the nearest dollar, with the extra funds going directly to support our local police and fire departments.

Unni and Dave, the owners of Saladworks, have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to our community by organizing this fundraiser. Her efforts not only provided much-needed support to our public safety services but also brought the community together for a noble cause. Unni and Dave regularly has fundraisers for local community non-profits. This fundraiser coincided with the two year anniversary of the opening of Saladworks in Lincoln.

Kris Knutson, President of the Lincoln Public Safety Foundation, expressed his gratitude: “We are deeply grateful to Unni and Dave and the entire Saladworks team for their incredible support. This fundraiser will make a significant impact on our ability to serve and protect the residents of Lincoln.”

Public Safety Chief Matt Alves said, “The generosity of Unni and her customers are a perfect example of the relationship we have with our community and what we work hard for every day to earn and enhance.”

To celebrate the success of this initiative, members of the LPSF, Chief Matt Alves, several firefighters, and police officers joined Unni Jensen at Saladworks for a special lunch and the check presentation. It was a wonderful occasion to acknowledge the community’s generosity and the dedication of our public safety professionals.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful fundraiser. Your support helps ensure that our police and fire departments have the resources they need to keep Lincoln safe.
